Spinal cord injury (SCI) is one of the major causes for creating disabilities in the World.

India being a fast developing nation is facing a heavy burden from SCI disability

Time has come to take a Clarian call for addressing the complex problems through an integrated approaches in health and long term rehabilitation care policies.

Spinal cord society over the years has made a significant contribution for the welfare of SCI persons and the programme today has become a 'people's movement' in the country.

The work will continue till the last SCI person is integrated with the society with full human rights.
