Rights & Privileges of Members
- All members of SCS will receive newsletters, as well as notices of all meetings, courses, conferences and other activities of SCS.
- Full Members of SCS whose subscriptions are not in arrears shall in addition, receive for their personal use such copies of the medical journal of SCS as are published during the year and shall be entitled to receive the notice to attend and vote at all General Body Meeting (s) of SCS.
- Associate Members whose subscription is not in arrears shall have full privileges of membership, except that they shall be unable to vote the Annual General Meeting and shall not receive a personal copy of the journal of SCS.
- Associate Member shall receive on payment of an additional subscription and for personal use, such copies of the Medical Journals of SCS as are published during the year.
- Any member entitled to receive the journal of SCS who joins SCS during the year shall receive all copies of journals as are published during the year.
- Honorary Members shall be exempted from payment of the annual subscription and shall have full privileges of membership except that they shall be unable to vote at the Annual General Meeting and shall not receive a personal copy of the Medical Journal of SCS.
- Senior members shall be exempted from payment of annual subscriptions and shall have privilege of full membership except that they shall not receive a personal copy of the Journal of SCS.
- Emeritus members shall be exempted from payment of Annual subscriptions when they retire from active medical practice and shall retain the privilege of full membership.
- Members who wish to change their membership category must apply in writing to the Honorary Secretary.
